In keeping with his recent environmentalist commitments, Arnold Schwarzenegger attended a talk on climate change with Tony Blair last week in which he wore a dark green blazer, a pastel blue Oxford cloth button-down shirt with barrel cuffs, and ivory chinos, plus some fine brown cowboy boots. That same day he was interviewed by BBC journalist Laura Kuenssberg. He wears a prominent silver ring on his right hand, which is slightly too flashy for my personal taste, but Schwarzenegger wears it with confidence. The green and blue complement each other handsomely. The neutral-coloured chinos balance the boldness of the green blazer, and tastefully juxtapose with the cowboy boots (with lively yellow embellishments) that he wears on his feet.

I personally rather like the look – full of personality, but not garish. Schwarzenegger appears supremely comfortable in his get-up. I regret that his watch is not more visible. In contrast, Blair, in his staid navy suit, navy tie and brown Oxford shoes, looks hopelessly bureaucratic and stiff. The much older Schwarzenegger has an outfit that belies his years and adds to his already considerable charisma.
